The “Qaed” Project for Developing Student Leaders has officially launched, implemented by Najm Foundation in partnership with the Excellence and Leadership Academy . The project aims to develop a pool of aware and qualified student leaders capable of effectively taking on leadership roles within university and community settings and contributing to initiatives with sustainable impact.
The project offers an integrated pathway for leadership development, bringing together intellectual grounding, faith-based development, leadership and skills development, and mission-oriented formation, alongside training programs, enrichment sessions, mentoring and coaching, and supporting educational materials. As the first training program of the project, “Enhancing Productivity and Task Completion Using the GTD Methodology” was delivered on August 28, 2026, led by Eng. Raed Sharaf Al-Din, a certified trainer in management and leadership. The program focused on enhancing productivity, task management, priority setting, and effective goal achievement, while introducing participants to the GTD (Getting Things Done) methodology and its practical applications.
The launch of the “Qaed” Project marks an important step toward investing in student potential and developing young leaders who combine awareness, values, skills, initiative, and the ability to create positive impact within their university and community environments.
