As a contribution to support those affected by the earthquake that struck southern Turkey and northern Syria at the beginning of last month, the Excellence and Leadership Academy organized a training program on “Organizational Recovery” on March 4-5, 2023. The program was delivered by Engineer Mounir Zahra, Senior Consultant and Trainer.
The program was attended virtually via the Zoom platform by a number of executives, managers, and interested individuals from various sectors who were impacted by the disaster in both Turkey and Syria.
The aim of the program was to provide a set of strategies, tools, and methodologies that contribute to organizational recovery and the restoration of their previous operations and activities. The focus was on analyzing the current situation and how to address strengths and weaknesses, as well as leveraging opportunities arising from the catastrophe to develop new models of work and flexible, progressive recovery plans. Participants were also provided with practical and realistic examples of applying damage assessment tools, SWOT analysis, and developing a new (or modifying the current) business model.
